Shocked at the brutal murder of Arshad Sharif who paid the ultimate price for speaking the truth - his life. He had to leave the country & be in hiding abroad but he continued to speak the truth on social media, exposing the powerful. Today the entire nation mourns his death.
A proper judicial investigation must be instituted to examine his own statements plus evidence that other sources have. We have descended into a state of brutality, unknown in civilised society, indulged in by the powerful against those who dare to criticise & expose wrongdoings
My prayers and condolences go to his grief stricken family.

A journalist working in Kenya has told Independent Urdu that if the number of bullets hit the vehicle is examined, it is clear that the target of the shooter was the victim (Arshad Sharif).
Aliyud Kibi, a journalist associated with the Kenyan newspaper The Star, has told Independent Urdu that "according to the police report, two bullets hit the left side of the vehicle on which the deceased was sitting." One was stuck in the right side door and one in the right side tire.
"What we have learned from the file report in the police book is that Arshad Muhammad Sharif was shot at around 10pm Kenyan local time in Kajido County near Nairobi," Aliyud Kibi said.
Police say that the driver of the car was the deceased's brother, but we learned that he did not have a brother at that time, so it is possible that he was a cousin or a close friend. Currently, the body is lying in a Nairobi mortuary, 17 kilometers from the crime scene
